About Seven Paths
Seven Paths Web Design started as a pastime and grew into a career.
Before my daughter was born, I was a preschool and kindergarten teacher for many years. When my daughter was eighteen months old, my wife returned to work, and I became a full-time parent. In that era, I spent many of my spare hours working with web design and web programming as a hobby.
Now that my daughter is in college, I can devote myself to web design full time, and web design has become my career. Being a web designer allows me to work at home and be available for my daughter when she needs me, and at the same time it allows me to do something I truly enjoy.
I hold a degree in elementary education from the University of Minnesota, and I have completed some graduate work in developmental psychology. I have no formal training in web design or programming, but I have worked with both informally over a period of many years.
Web design, with its unique combination of art and technology, can keep me at my computer all day long, and it very often does.
